About the Fly Shop

Founded in February 1987, in the inner-ring St. Louis suburb of Brentwood, T. Hargrove Fly Fishing Inc. has become the stuff of Fly Fishing Legend. A wood-burning stove in the corner, topo-maps and classic promo posters cover the ceiling, and every room and every wall are packed with an assortment of merchandise and snapshots capturing those amazing fishing trips of customers and friends accumulated over a lifetime. The atmosphere of T. Hargrove is as unique as the skill and knowledge of it’s founder and namesake. When Tom speaks about a favorite fishing locale, or a beloved rod, or a favorite cigar, you can bet it’s worth taking note. So stop by, grab a cup of coffee from the carafe, have a seat at the claw-foot table, and relax a while. You’re sure to have a nice time, and you just might learn a thing or two.
